最後に、色々なプレゼント交換がありました。
まずレッドウィング姉妹都市委員会から引率者へのプレゼントでした。
伊方の国際交流教会から姉妹都市委員会へは、中太鼓と沖縄の特別な衣装でした。それから、広瀬会長の代表として、末光先生がトム（姉妹都市委員会の中にある伊方会の会長でもあるトム）へ、日本刀をあげました。そして、派遣生にもプレゼントがありました。鮮やかな色の袋には、姉妹都市委員会及びレッドウィング市、またはレッドウィングの様々なビジネスからのお土産が入っています。箱は、プレーリーアイランドのカジノを経営する原住民からの素晴らしい贈り物です。
とても楽しい歓迎会で、開いた時に皆さんは互いに感謝の気持ちでいっぱいのようでした。ありがとうございました！
We had a gift exchange before ending the welcome party. First, the Red Wing Sister Cities Commission presented our chaperons with lovely gifts from the city and its businesses. Then Reiko presented Commission Chair Tao Peng with a taiko and Okinawan costume on behalf of the Ikata International Exchange Association. In place of IIEA Chair Hideharu Hirose, she also presented Tom with a decorative Japanese katana. Lastly, the Ikata students came up and were showered with gifts from the Commission, City of Red Wing, and local businesses. The boxed presents are from the Prairie Island Native American community.
It was a very fun welcome party, and by the end of it I think everyone was full to bursting with mutual feelings of gratitude and appreciation. Many thanks to everyone involved in making this such a special evening!
