シカゴでツアーを！Touring Chicago!

今日はシカゴで一日観光をしました。伊方町中学派遣生は伊方町友好親善団と一緒に、歴史のある建築の街のシカゴを回り、いろいろ見学をしました。25年間世界一高層ビルだったウィリスタワーをのぼり, 103階の展望台からの見下ろしは最高でした。お土産の買い物はちょっとしてから、ミレニアムパーク（公園）に行き、クラウド・ゲート、野外コンサートホールを見ました。のどがちょっと乾いて水を買いましたが、何と一本３００円！ランチは飲茶、午後からシカゴ美術館（アメリカ三大美術館）へ行きました。時差ぼけと観光の疲れもあったかもしれませんが、子供ら疲れそうな顔をしていてホテルへ帰りました。

Today was a full day of tours in Chicago. The Ikata student delegation and the Friendship delegation travelled all around the historic and beautiful architecture. It was amazing to behold the view from the observation deck on the 103rd floor. After shopping for a minute we headed over to Millenium park where we got water for three dollars (omg expense!) Then it was some Chinese for lunch before heading over to the Art Institute Chicago. Not sure if it was from exhaustion of just tired form the jet lag but the kids really started looking tired by the end of the day.

We came down to the first floor and there was yet another souvenir shop!
"Well, I guess I will bus something", said the Ikata students.

お天気はとても良かったです！涼しくて、乾いている空気が気持ちいいです。
The weather was amazing! Cool and dry.

伊方町国際交流協会廣瀬会長はシカゴのお花をけっこう気に入った。
Mr. Hirose really got to liking the flowers in Chicago.

シカゴ市でいろいろ視察ができました。
We got to see a lot in the city of Chicago.

「クラウド・ゲート」の前ですが、近くてわかりません。
裕司は「のどが乾いた」

シカゴの「クラウン・ファウンテン」（クラウン噴水）では
地元の子供達が楽しそうに水浴びをしていました。

お昼は中華料理を
Chinese for lunch!

友好親善団も同じテーブルで座り、みんなで食べました。
The Friendship Delegation sat at the same table and ate together with everyone.

シカゴ美術館は沢山の国からの作品があります。
The Art Institute has many works of art from many parts of the world.

「ネイビーピアー」という遊園地らしいところに楽しく過ごしました。
We had a good time at the amusement park-like place called Navy Pier.

他の人の前で一時的なタトゥーをつけている人がいました。
There were people getting temporary tattoos there.
This really surprised some of the students.

ネイビー・ピアーのお店は沢山ありました。これは石けん専用店です。
There were many shops at Navy Pier, this is a soap shop.

夕食はポークステーキは美味しかったですが、３人前のぶんでした！
The pork steak was good but it could have fed three.
