今日は末光先生と竹上先生が私とトムと一緒にカルビルパークに行って、歓迎会の準備をしました。天気は曇りで雨降りそうでしたが、結局降らなくて済みました。
Today, Reiko and Masaya went with Tom and me to prepare for the welcome party at Colvill Park. The weather was overcast and looked a bit like rain, but we were lucky and it didn't.
こちらは昔、カルビルプールの施設でしたが、プールが建て替えた時からカルビルコートヤードと呼ばれて、今夜の会場です。
This is the Colvill Courtyard, the venue for tonight's welcome party. It used to be the bathhouse for the pool before it was moved and rebuilt.
コートヤードの中では冷房がよく効いていて快適でした。
トムはプレゼントのアレンジにこだわり、自分でしました。
Inside the building, the air conditioning was on full blast and it was nice and cool. Tom took great care in arranging the gift bags and presents for the Ikata kids.
