Day 8 - Goodhue Historical Museum, Afternoon of Art

下記は８日目から最後の日にかける日記を更新するつもりです。遅くなって、また大変申し訳ありません。

それから、9月下旬は第20回海外派遣研修報告会を行いますので、そろそろ派遣生・引率者の報告書をブログに載せます。よろしくお願いします。

In the morning, we went to Goodhue County Historical Museum and toured around learning about not only the history of Red Wing, but other towns as well in Goodhue County.

朝は、グッドヒュー群博物館に行って、RW市だけではなくグッドヒュー群の中の町の歴史について習いました。

After the historical tour, students went seperately - some went rock climbing on Barn Bluff, while others toured around the downtown area. They eventually met up for Mexican food for lunch.

ツアーの後、ある派遣生は、バーンブラフでロッククライミングをしましたが、他の派遣生は、RW下町を歩いて回しました。昼ごはんの時にメキシコ料理店で集合しました。

Some of the students met with the Red Wing Chamber of Commerce.

ある派遣生と引率者は、商工会議所に訪ねました。

After lunch, Dawn and Matt taught how to do silk-screen T-shirt prints as well as making books. The t-shirt prints were made by cutting out a design on paper.
午後から、ドーンさんとマットさんは美術を教えて、Tシャツのシルククリーン印刷や本づくり教室を行いました。Tシャツのデザインは、切り紙で作りました。

本づくりのためのたくさんのスタンプを用いして、迷っちゃう！

With leftover paper, Riley made some cute cranes.

ライリーは、切り紙の余った紙からかわいいツルを作りました。

Everyone got to choose their favorite color. The results of the t-shirt designs were all beautiful and unique.
皆は好みの色を選べました。Tシャツのデザインは、美しくてユニークで素晴らしかったです。

While some of the students were busy with making their books and printing their t-shirts, we went to the Sheldon Theater which was across the street.

それから、シェルドン劇場にも行きました。

Everyone trying their best to try and capture the beautiful theater.

美しい劇場の写真を撮ろうとしている派遣生の姿、大変よね。

After the art activities finished, the students went back home with their host families. Some of the students went to the Concert in the Park and had a picnic.

美術のあとに、派遣生は帰りました。ある派遣生とホストファミリは、夜にコンサート・イン・ザ・パークに行ってピクニックを食べたらしいです。
