Like frothy cotton candy, sakura (cherry blossoms) dotted the hills and mountain slopes this past weekend in Ikata.
There were a lot of people in Red Wing Park on Sunday!
One national pastime is picnicking under the cherry blossoms, as some people are doing here near the sculpture.
